My motto: Let`s do it together!
I’m Lucas Busemeyer and I’ve been immersed in the energy and hydrogen world for over 15 years. My focus is PEM fuel cells and electrolysis systems – from stacks to complete systems. I love tackling technically challenging projects and turning ideas into real, working solutions together with my partners.
I’ve led R&D teams of up to 30 engineers, coordinated complex projects, and successfully secured and executed funded research initiatives – at ELOGEN, the German Aerospace Centre, and several research institutions.
Education-wise, I hold a Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences (Dr. sc. agr.) from the University of Hohenheim, an M.Sc. in Mechatronic Systems Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück, and a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Trier. Even back then, I was fascinated by sensors, precision measurement, and fuel cell technology.
I know the hydrogen ecosystem inside out – from stack design and component sourcing to regulations and intellectual property. I help organizations develop efficient, sustainable, and compliant solutions from first concept to full implementation.
English? Fluent. Presenting at international conferences? Absolutely. My style: direct, hands-on, and collaborative. I bring teams together, solve problems on the ground, and make sure hydrogen projects don’t just stay on paper – they get done.
